Giclees on Watercolor Paper or Photo Rag Paper
Giclee, pronounced "zhee-clay", is a sophisticated inkjet printing method. It merges the use of professional grade large format printers with archival pigmented inks, archival watercolor papers and canvas. By using custom profiles, precise color correction and expert scanning, these printers can render subtle gradations and many colors that would be out of range with other technologies.
Our greatest concerns have been longevity, fidelity of reproduction and overall esthetic effect. All these issues have been resolved with the advent of 6+ inks which are pigment based. The number of inks creates a greater gamut, higher Dmax and the pigments insure archival characteristics unheard of before.
We can print any size not listed below up to 42" (with an additional 1" border around) in paper width with up to 38 feet on the other dimension. The prices in the tables below are for common sizes.

William Turner watercolor paper: 310 gsm thick textured watercolor paper. Acid free, lignin free pure cotton mould. German made, archival substrate from Hahnemuhle. (300 grams per square meter is very close to 140 lb watercolor paper).
Photo Rag paper is a bright white German made 100% pure cotton, acid free paper designed for photo and smooth surface art reproduction. This paper has an amazing D-max (black) saturation, depth and color. Very smooth matte surface. 308 gsm, from Hahnemuhle.

This canvas is the choice substrate for canvas prints for the highest image quality and archival requirements. Unstretched canvas comes to you rolled in a tube.
Stretching Services - We buy the finest stretching frames. We do not use low quality wood that can
warp in a few months or years. This is why our prices may be higher than some
competitors. We will not sell any canvas artwork, watercolor or stretching materials
than can not stand the test of time. We carefully stretch our giclees to be
straight on the bars. We pack with strong boxes to insure safe delivery.
