Mixed Shapes Wall Sculpture - Open Designs
These multi-layered, dimensional, copper wall constructions use techniques that combine free-flowing abstract coloration (patinas) within a context of great precision and design and are inspired by my eclectic interests in spirituality, history and mathematics.

The copper is colored with a variety of processes that create beautiful greens, blues, reds and browns patinas, depending on the exact process used. Copper is a soft metal, therefore (with the exception of the weavings) the copper is glued to 1/4" aluminum or 1/2" thick furniture grade wood for rigidity. The copper-wood composite is then cut, glued and stacked to create the constructions. All edges are primed and painted black for dramatic effect.

These metal art pieces are often used as focal points of interior design in modern corporate settings and upscale, contemporary homes. Weights are reasonable and these wall pieces are easily installed.

Many of these designs look great displayed in different orientations. All
these wall pieces are very light weight (under 20 lbs.) and very easy to
install. Note that 'Green Speckled' and '45 degree Design' below are the same
design hung in different orientations.
